CT Chest Scan

One of the places this cancer is known to spread or metastasize to is the lung

So they have arrange a chest CT to make sure there is no issues there

Whats it all about

Hi

After a long held repeated complaint to my Doctor about a constant nagging neck pain and latterly an inability to move my tongue fully

I was referred to my local hospital Addenbrook's for a CT scan

The scan showed a tumor in the Clival bone at the base of my skull
This has subsequently been diagnosed as a Chordoma. This is a rare type of bone cancer
Rare enough to effect approximately 1 in every 3 million people in the area I have it and 1 in every million in all cases

This is an ongoing story starting circa 2013

Hopefully this will also help others who discover they have been diagnosed with Clival Chordoma
